Tapping into your creativity is an effective form of self-care. Whether through writing, graphic designing, dancing or singing, I’ve often leaned into creativity, especially during challenging or turbulent times. NOT WORKING FOR YOU? CHANGE IT UP!
I used to have trouble practicing what I preach in relation to maintaining a self-care practice. That was because trying to stick to a spiritual/mindful practice and self-care routine during extra busy times (and then exerting even more pressure by being hard on myself when I couldn’t keep it up) didn’t really work well for me.
